Obviously you must spend time alone to do the work that is necessary for you to be the person your partner can enjoy being with. However, you must also plan to spend time together.

The keyword here is “plan.” Stand by your plan. Keep your commitment to be with your partner.

Make a collective effort to be together. Work as a team. Together everyone accomplishes more.
